Kristalglans moet ook.weer aan het werk 😁
I think it's an amazing composision that deserves recognition.
Best version
Great classic Song, the best version, great singer, only for experts
Seventh Wave's debut album Things to come, was their 'Dark Side of the Moon' moment. Something that took Pink Floyd 8 times as long to achieve
Pink Floyd became massive Seventh Wave didn't -- WHY?
Thanks to Bob Harmon - back in the 70's for introducing me to this !
Quite simply, the world wasn't ready for Seventh Wave. Saw them play the old Marquee Club in 75.. The first 2 fine albums slipped under most radars.
Just seen your comment. Ken Elliott is my brother and I was too young to appreciate the albums at the time they were released (I was 9 years old), but I absolutely love them now. I'll let Ken know what you said. Thank you.
@@Fran1963UK Thanks Fran, my comments are heartfelt. I heard Psi Fi on Alan Freeman's Radio 1 Saturday afternoon Rock Show one Saturday in 1975. He played MANIFESTATIONS which blew me away to put it mildly. These boys were musical innovators and warranted a great deal more success than they got. Now, 50 years on, their music is remembered by a die-hard group of staunch fans, of which I am proud to call myself one.......
@@johnbyrne2756 I've just spoken to Ken on the phone and read your comments to him - he was really chuffed :) Ken lives in March (near Cambridge) and I'll be paying him a visit on 7th Sept. He never goes online, so I love to let him know that people still appreciate his music. I also let him know that I recently found a track by him called "Yeah" by "The Jets". I was previously unaware of it as he had never mentioned it to me. He said the track was a parody of Gary Glitter. The Swedish band The Hives have covered it in their live shows. He couldn't believe it. The B side "Rusty Corinthian Pillar" has the 7th Wave sound. ruclips.net/video/VMaFXqMlr-c/видео.html Kind regards
Great song with a swing jazz beat!
Got to keep it going
Love this older song No doubt about it
Badass. I'm 60 now, stumbled upon this monumental tune in 82. Yep, at a party, friend of a friend, yep, doing blotter under our eyelids.. never forgot this song, had to look it up though. On you tube, you just don't run across much Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. Awesome tune. Much love for it, and this classic tune and sound. I remember I found myself picking up the turntable needle and starting this song multiple times, and nobody seemed to care. We all lo ved it!
❤❤❤❤❤ awesome band love thier music 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶 🎶
🗣 I listened 🎧 to this whole album ! This is my favourite *Amazing* song .
Classic song, hard to forget 👻
One of the best underrated guitarists, this is crazy good, one of the best solos ever! I listened to this in the 70s, dream on wannabes this is my music, I'm in my 60s we grew up to the best music ever!
Reminds me of Dire Straits singer.....
Just close your eyes
Great Band Ever
Thank you for feeding my Billy Squier addiction with this awesome upload!!❤😎🎧
I'm just now in 2023 discovering how much BILLY SQUIER ROCKS! Geez he's a genuine ROCKSTAR and I adore him, his voice, and his guitar playing so much 😍❤ Thank you for uploading this music!!🎉
Harmelodics in the house.... :)
this was stuck in my head the other day even though I hadn't heard it in ages. reminds me of days wrapping cd's to ship off
Yes Alex, I also remember it, I still have all the cd's 😊 it was a nice time
@@shakrimh Truly it was. I still practice the old songs too
The name Frank Marino should be up there with Hendrix, Clapton and Page.
It’s odd. I really like srv. But Frank has more intense rock jazz blue jams I’m a king bee has more great jams than most guitar guys have on a album
Grande Grand Funk, ¿En cuál álbum sale este tema?
Frank Marino is the greatest guitarist Canada has ever produced. Requiem for a sinner was my high school introduction to Mahogany rush in '77
❤❤❤
2:19 when I was a kid, I thought he sang "The fox just stole a farting fold" and that made me laugh SO hard.
Besos y Abrazos
Come chitarrista non era secondo a nessuno: Meglio di Hendrix, senza alcun dubbio, se la giocava con i mostri di quel tempo
very very good.......................................................................................................
I always loved Bloodrock and was very proud of them.
Great song.
🗣 I bought this album in *Italy* in 1979. Until then, I had not had the opportunity to listen to their songs.
Every so often I stumble across an old band that I have never heard of but once I hear them I can't understand why they weren't a household name. This is one, thanks for posting
Underrated album. Contains 💎 💎💎💎💎💎. Warren Ham is so talented.
I would never have guessed this was Billy Squier singing. Voice is so different after he left the band and started another band.
Warren Ham...now with Toto
In the late 80's I made a tape which was 1/2 Kings X and half Frank. I remember coming back from doing a massage therapy treatment in Oak Park Illinoi, (Some 15 miles away) at at my ex-classmates clinic and hearing this like it was yesterday. Frank's music lives on as he was a pioneer though not given enough credit. And now there are thousands of places one can get a therapeutic massage....but back then, well, this song plugged into our vision, yet we were alone. You get this great high and then...."Oh well, I better go to my part time job to pay the bills. Frank was in tune with the underdog, working man and pioneers being one himself. I hope he is comforted knowing how many people he has touched and that his family and friends are with him as he privately takes care of his health. Amen. You're a legend Frank. I am sure God Almighty will have you in his band.
The lyrics the riffs the raucous scream of the Irish tin whistle..
One of my most loved albums...
Hello Conny. This is Tom Frazier. I hope your doing well. 😊
Hé Tom, glad to hear from you, all is good😊
Why this song came to mind after 50 years I have no idea. It was the flip side of Locomotion. I appreciate it much more now:)
same here, had to google it
Tull`s classical sound.......MAGNIFICENT!!
Á musica é antes e depois de IAN SCOTT ANDERSON . Essa arte tão singular e bela toma contornos, formas , pelo espírito deste músico GENIAL
I like to sit in my dark room with a black-light, and let this Frank Marino masterpiece soak my brain 🎧😎🎧
8 likes....awesome. This is Walt Butler the lead guitar player. We only saw (2) one thousand+ audience count shows. One was a battle of the bands (2 years before this album), the other was Hardin County Jam (shortly after the album was played in full on WLRS 102). Besides these 2 engagements, we played dozens of small keg parties and a couple flea bag bars. The author of this charitable and flamboyant biography is far from the facts. The band split up due to Reed and Les either intentionally or unintentionally stealing rights to a song. The bright side....no one really cares...lol
What's up Walt. Hope you're doing well. It's Tom Frazier.
Road to nowhere
Ran across this looking for some of the Aslan music Reed and I did back in day. Not sure if you remember me, Walt. I played drums in Alter Ego for about a minute towards the end, then you, Steve and I played together for a bit. If you're still in Louisville, a bunch of us get together occasionally to jam. I quite playing professionally back in the 90's, then played in church for several years up until Covid hit. Anyway, if you see this, look me up. Greg McNary
@@jessefrazier6305 Hey Tom, Greg McNary here. Left a message on here for Walt. Same goes for you. We get together and make noise from time to time. If you're ever in town, let me know and we'll get some guys together and jam.
@@gregmcnaryHey Greg. Just found your comment. I'm down in Barren county. Hope you guys are doing well. Peace brother.
